Maruti Circular on Swift Engine Oil: Change from 15W40 to 5W40 - Page 4, mobile 5w40 synthetic4/10/2017
Yes I'm sure it'll work fine. It is absolutely impossible to have an intelligent conversation regarding this topic norsk tipping casino x download, as it applies to your very particular, unique circumstances, unless you have your oil analyzed on a regular basis. Without a base line oil analysis and regular, continuing analysis, you do not know how a particular oil product wears in your particular vehicle. I hate these threads. Sorry for the misinformation. The following link leads to a TSB that lists most of the oils approved by Audi/VW. The Mobil 1 5w-40 TST is on there, but not sure which spec (the annexed list just lists oils approved under some VW/Audi spec). If you're truly concerned, do as the folks above referenced and have your oil tested. Even if your coolant temp stays relatively normal (Thanks to the massive radiator), the oil will remain at elevated temperatures. (The oil in fact has to cool the engine as well) Mike is correct in stating the myths norsk tipping casino 305, old wives tales and urban legends around oil. The oil analysis test is the only way that you can see the effect of any type of oil on YOUR car. Cool man. Feels like my car is running just a tad better I guess too even though I didnt do the official testing like dude up there nytt norsk casino 440, but sweet. diesels produce lower EGT's then gasoline engines. It is T6 Rotella. The ad says limit of 12 per customer Well you got your last sentence flipped around there. This is not necessarily true. You could say that since there is less waste of heat, it its more efficent. Relax buddy. I just wanted to know if anyone has used 5w40 Mobil synthetic before. Thats all. But way to go on your analysis! Thumbs up! 2 thumbs. I hate these threads. 3rd Gear
02 Passat v6 here. I was using the Mobil 5w-40 TDT for a couple of years with no issues. If I recall norsk casino paa nett designs, it was a VW 502 spec oil (not that I cared). More importantly, it was $20 for a 5 qt jug. Unfortunately, Strauss Auto stopped carrying it recently (I may have been the only person buying the stuff), so I've switched to Shell Rotella T6. Slightly more expensive for some reason, but not by much and it's everywhere. No issues. I don't mean to be belligerent and start an argument, but I'll answer your inquires. I just want to know if anyone has used Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w-40 for Diesel/Truck? 2nd Gear But if you want to get picky, as many of us do, some say the formula is different to handle the high temps of diesels. And it is a proven fact that Mobil oils tend to thin a bit with use. There was a Euro mobil 1 turbo diesel 5w40 that meets 502.00, but they no longer make it, thanks to the introduction of the 504.00 standard As you said, not VW approved but it wouldn't bother me to use it. List sources that prove that all mobil oils tend to thin a bit with use. 2nd Gear Even if your coolant temp stays relatively normal (Thanks to the massive radiator), the oil will remain at elevated temperatures. 2nd Gear As it should look if following proper OCI protocol. I'd be leary about the truck oil though. The additive package can be quite different for each type of oil. Some additives meant for use in diesel/truck applications may be detrimental to the 1.8T and vice versa. What I find funny is that my Yamaha FJR takes 4 1/4 to 1/2 quarts of oil so I'm now almost able to do an oil change on the leftover oil. If that is the T6 Rotella then $17.99 is a pretty good deal. Worth getting a few gallons in reserve for future oil changes. I am now switching over to Mobil 1 0W-40. Due to a recent office move, my travel has changed dramatically since I no longer commute nearly as many miles as I used to. My analysis for the Mobil 1 product shows a TBN degradation quicker than the Amsoil product but with superior wear indices. I no longer go much beyond 5,000 mis per six month interval. I've only ever heard of using the diesel synthetics in motorcycles so that you don't have to pay for the 'motorcycle' branding, the additives being somewhat similar. Having said and done that in the past I just wait for my local parts shop to run a special on MC specific oil anymore. These elevated temperatures over extended periods of time will break down the oil quicker. This gives way to the notoriety of such oils as Rotella T nett real estate, Delvac, etc. Nice ride. My '02 Daytona 955i ran like a top on the Rotella 5W40 T&TD in the 5 years that I owned her. After 30,000+ miles she never burned a single drop and the engine internals were clean as a whistle. 02 Passat v6 here. I was using the Mobil 5w-40 TDT for a couple of years with no issues. Buy the main reason diesels are more efficient, are because they have an instant, uniform burn of fuel in the cylinder compared to a gas engine in which the burn radiates out from the plug. 3rd Gear Postage to: United Kingdom, Austria mobile botanical gardens, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark norske casino paa nett e bise, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Israel, Norway casino bonus norge fotball, Korea, South online slots odds, Taiwan, Chile Semi-synth oil for 10K kms is a bit long to be driving around. I don't know what MASS is upto here but I too will get things clear at my end when my car goes for the 3rd service in a month. MGDO, mobil semi-synthtic oil mentioned by other members is around Rs.400/- and going by the price it is clearly a SS oil. However if the grade is same then obviously a semi-synthetic oil is better than a mineral and fully synthetic better than Semi Synthetic. Can you please scan the bill and put it up here? It will be easy for all here to know and understand. I went through the entire Mobil diesel oil range but did not find anything in 5W40 other than Delvac 1. If it is 5W40 and Delvac 1 then its a steal of a price. Next time i will get oil from MASS itself for my i20. I paid 4200 for a 5ltr can of delvac 1 recently. Last edited by interc00led. 16th March 2014 at 17:35. In my bill its just written MGDO(5w40) mobil. Cant upload the bill as its at another location. I think Maruti has tied-up with Mobil to supply semi-synthetic oil. It is a good move as servicing costs will decrease without compromising too much on the engine wear. Heck, even with a mineral oil (if changed within 10K), the ddis can cross 200k mark with ease.
